Payment Methods

Due to Unconscious Connections being an online therapy service that treats people in multiple states, we do not currently accept health insurance as a form of payment. However, we are happy to provide superbills after each session. These superbills can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement, either partially or in full, depending on your health insurance plan. While most insurance companies offer reimbursement for therapy services, we cannot guarantee that yours will. We are happy to check your benefits to ensure that you can receive full or partial reimbursement for therapy services with us prior to starting any sessions. We currently accept payment from all major credit cards, such as Visa, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard. Cards on file will be charged on a bi-monthly basis.

Can’t afford services?

Give us a call; we may be able to offer sliding scale services. Eligibility for the sliding scale is determined on an income basis and is at the discretion of Unconscious Connections, as well as the availability to provide services. If slots are full, we are happy to put you on a waiting list and contact you as soon as sliding scale slots become available. We can also negotiate payment plans as needed. Just be mindful: if you are in need of special pricing or payment arrangements, you should call the office to set up appointments versus booking them online, in order to avoid confusion about service costs.
